The key to Ardnahoe
With a family background in the whisky business dating back to the 1940s, Ardnahoe’s new and exciting distillery had a strong foundation from which to build.
To guarantee a memorable Ardnahoe experience, three key requirements became clear. Ardnahoe wanted to:
- Deliver a seamless, multichannel booking solution for their visitors (and staff)
- Take payments online
- Gain actionable business insights
"It takes an Ardnahoe visitor an average of three minutes to book a distillery experience online. This has dramatically improved our operational efficiencies.” Paul Graham – Visitor Centre Operations Manager
Bookable experiences, online 24/7
Visitor Centre Operations Manager, Paul Graham explains Appointedd’s impact during Islay Festival “Feis Ile” – Islay’s Festival of Music and Malt, Ardnahoe’s busiest week of the year: “Our whisky experiences were configured to be bookable up to 5 weeks in advance so it became a very seamless process for our visitors and staff. We were able to streamline 19 bookable experiences in one day. We loved that visitors were notified and reminded of their booking, which was great for attendance and having payments taken in advance helped from a revenue point of view.”
