Meet Liam Anderson, Appointedd’s new Chief Technology Officer. With an extensive tech leadership background, Liam has been brought in to drive Appointedd forward by leveraging cutting-edge technologies whilst committing to exceeding customer and partner expectations. We spent some time with him earlier this week to get to know him a little more.

Why Appointedd?

I chose to join Appointedd because it is the type of company I want to be working for. I was looking for a SaaS-based company with a fantastic culture and the vision to make a difference. Having previously worked in companies that have tackled the problem of booking and scheduling I know the complexity of the problem and could see the difference Appointedd can make.

First impressions of the company and team?

I have been really impressed with Appointedd so far. The onboarding experience has been the most seamless I have ever encountered in my professional career. Everyone I’ve met in the team are really driven to find the best solutions for our customers. That passion to deliver the best product and support has come through in every discussion I have had. The Appointedd team and overall culture is very collaborative. From the start I have been asked to share my experience and unbiased opinion on certain aspects of the business and products.

What will you be doing?

As the Chief Technology Officer, my primary role is to ensure that our technology aligns with our customers’ needs and expectations. I lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions that enhance user experience and streamline processes and product growth. My responsibilities include overseeing the entire technology stack, from architecture design to software development and infrastructure management. I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to prioritise features, address technical challenges, and deliver high-quality products on time. Ultimately, my goal is to leverage cutting-edge technology to empower our customers, optimise their workflows, and exceed their expectations in every interaction with our platform. I look forward to getting to know our customers and their needs, so I would love to jump on a call to engage with our customers.

How do you plan to leverage your experience to drive Appointedd’s product forward?

I’m excited to bring my extensive experience in technology leadership and innovation to drive Appointedd’s product forward. My experience within technology has been wide and varied, leading me to be able to adapt and understand different industries with ease. With a proven track record of leveraging innovative solutions to propel companies forward. My focus will be on fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Additionally, my expertise in designing and implementing highly scalable data systems will ensure that our infrastructure can support Appointedd’s expanding user base and evolving business needs. By harnessing the power of cutting-edge technologies and cultivating a high-performing team, I am committed to driving Appointedd’s and our customers’ success.

If you could book anything on Appointedd, what would it be?

Open Events sessions with my local strongman gym. They currently do everything over WhatsApp and if you miss the message it can be easy to not get a slot.
