Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will be in charge of working with the senior team to deliver the Marketing strategy for Appointedd.

The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for leading the team to create and execute all multi-channel, lead generation activities. The main focus of the role and department is to generate qualified leads for our sales team in line with prospect and MQL target criteria. There will be a focus on nurturing leads through the early stages of marketing and sales qualification to build strong relationships with multiple members of a buying team.

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Devise fully integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies which utilise email, social media, content marketing, PR, SEO/SEM and paid search
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Carry out research, identifying new target markets/verticals for future campaigns and deliver insights to support the wider team
  • Forecast and plan campaign activity and take ownership of the marketing calendar
  • Manage marketing budget and campaign spend
  • Measure and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns, and continually assess performance against pre set criteria (ROI and OKRs)
  • Create and execute an event strategy inline with active campaigns to deliver new leads for the businessUtilise analytical and data tools including Google Analytics, MOZ, Facebook Insights, LinkedIn Insights and Twitter reporting to help shape and build future strategy
  • Maximise impact from our growing mar tech stack
  • Collaborate with and empower a kick-ass marketing executive

Requirements of the role. You’ll have at least 70% of the following…

  • Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple lead and opportunity streams with aplomb
  • Experience in delivering a strong ROI on marketing spend
  • Deep understanding of meaningful marketing metrics and key deliverables
  • A highly creative streak with experience in devising campaigns that engage, inform and convert
  • A track record in identifying target audiences and delivering strategies to drive engagement Demonstrable experience in leading and managing multi-channel campaigns
  • Experience in delivering an enterprise level B2B marketing strategy
  • Strong understanding of paid digital advertising, with focus on LinkedIn and paid search
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Experience managing agencies and freelancers – PR, digital marketing, partners
  • Market awareness of the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and campaign execution and measurement
